Hi all hope you are well or as well as can be but wanted to ask for your advice as im aware with RA we all get low imune systems I have had one for many years before I got RA getting back to the question is it safe to visit others who have a low imune system and have a infection on their lungs.

Not really, no.Note that colds and flu etc. are spread mainlyby contact not usually through the air. They are picked up from door-handles/stair-bannisters, computer keyboards etc, then transferred internally from your own hands.

I'd try to stay well clear, I know it's difficult as we want to see our family and friends.my close ones are aware of the situation and try to limit contact if they are unwell.

Still we want to go on holiday and fly which I think is the easiest way to pick up infections due to the poor air filtration,so it's all a matter of balance.

Try to stay as well as possible.
