Hi Gill, are you referring to the Power Plate to build bone? x
No it's a massager there are testimonials that say it a great product & has help them a lot
Trouble with me is I like speak to somebody that has one not just the sale person. I will give you web wee.eurorherapy.org.uk I saw at a show where they are cheaper than the price they state. I would be interested in you view if you do not mind. The cost is putting me off in case it not as good as they say. Thanks Gill
I totally agree Gill, everything is so expensive and what works for one person may not work for another! I will take a look at the link later when I have more time but what I have done in such instances in the past is sent an email to my consultant via his secretary for his thoughts. I also look into research in the product and the findings.
I did this with the power plate (vibration therapy) for osteoporosis in my lumbar spine. Consultant was happy for me to use as there is some evidence that it can help build c. 1% muscle. Research papers provided mixed results. I tried the plate out at my local gym and really did not feel comfortable as I was concerned the vitrations might shatter my already porous lumbar spine. This would also have been pretty expensive at £30 a week for up to a year.
I'll get back to you if I have any further information. If it sounds promising I may email my RA consultant.

Hi Gill, I have had a quick look and cannot find any research to back this up. In fact, there was contradictory information from previous users. Sorry, I could not be of much help.
Good luck
