Many of us here probably have, or have had, sore knees. But there are many reasons for it, so always best to go and see your doctor. It could be bursitis (what used to be called housemaid's knee), or osteoarthritis, or mechanical damage like a torn cartilage, or inflammatory arthritis. Either way it's probably painful, so sympathy. But go and get it looked at!
Sore but not swollen
Yes my knees are sore and swollen , by the end of the day they are wider by 2inches.going to see the rheumy next week . Fingers crossed I get some joy asmhave had both hips replaced, half of my back stabilised and now have to have bi lateral knee replacements. No one ever wondered why I had such chronic deterioration even though this has been happening since my thirties
Hi,
Me too. I have PSA in them and OA. I get Baker's cysts at the back. I'm looking at knee replacements eventually I'm told. X
Yup. I had a bilateral partial knee replacement about two years ago. My right leg hasn't been right since. Seeing doc in a couple of weeks to asked if I can be referred back to orthopaedics.
It's a flipping nuisance isn't it!
Hello Pie, yes my knees are in a lot of pain. I'm in a wheelchair because my right knee has frozen & I can no longer straighten that leg. Not sure what's next. Hope u feel better.🌻
