Contacted the doctor yesterday as I am having another flare. Because he is the emergency doctor, he refused to talk to me. If I had chest pains or tonsillitis he would of spoken to me. Had a flare a couple of weeks ago but only a short course of steroids. 6 for 4 days and 2 for 2 days. I don't think that it was a long enough course but what do I know. I was given some new pain killers that helped but they have all gone know. Really stuck with what to do. I am a delivery driver so straggling at the moment. Any suggestions?

Hi Nicky, I'd suggest you phone the NRAS help line. They are probably best placed to give you sound advice. It's worth a try. Good luck, I hope you find a way forward.

Hi there, do you have a rheumatology helpline you can ring as they should be able to advise you on what to do.
