How should I feel.

I've had two infusions of Rituximab the second being on the 12th January this year. I know it takes up to 16 weeks to notice a difference but I am just wondering how I know it is working? I still have aches and my arms, shoulders and hands are still sore. Knees ache as well as being stiff. I still cant fully close my hand in a fist. I have good and bad days. I have decided to go to my Doctor to see about getting referred for some physio in the hope that that will help. On a slightly different subject I am appalled by the lack of front fastening bras out there in my size. I have emailed various companies and get told they either don't stock them or not in my size. The problem I also have is that my breasts are two different sizes since my lumpectomy for breast cancer so I need a moulded cup to make me look equal. I have searched the Internet but when I find something it's not in my size. So my hope is that with physio I hopefully might get enough flexibility back to lose my bra at the back.

Hi ellie , ive just had my second lot of rituximab as well . It took a number of weeks after first lot in april but im less sore , lymph nodes gone down and more energy. Have not had the effect from this infusion yet but im hopefull ! Regarding the bras , have you tried fastening bra at front and then turning it round? I know that can still be difficult but maybe worth a try? I hope you get sorted .

Hi, .EllieEllie.

RE the bras...I saw some nice front fastening ones in Matalan today. Black with a gilt fastening...didn't look to see if they had other colours! They had moulded cups too.

I had first two RTX infusions last October......for me I still have slight problems with one wrist, elbow & shoulder....but I have using it more than usual as i broke the other arm in December. But otherwise all seems to be going well!

Did you have a blood test when you had your three month check with the Biologics nurse? I had my check up & did have bloods ...I thought that would be to show how things were progressing....but hey what do I know...make it up as I go along.

Hope you get the bra!
