What gorgeous dogs you have!

Thankyou, Joey is my nieghbours dog. We just happened to bring 8 week old puppies home within the same week. It's fun to watch them play together. Joey and Ravin run over to eachothers houses for "treats" almost every day.

That's so cute...so they've grown up together as best friends? What kind of dog is Ravin? She is beautiful!! As you most likely can tell I'm a fellow dog lover 😊

Ravin is a Snorkie. (Schnauzer & yorkie )

I'm coming to visit!!

Come on over!!! We'll meet at Guildford...you know an area in Surrey....lol... I think I'm feeling abit of Deja vu. :)

Haha...your not getting me on that one! I tell you, if you weren't so far away I would. Doggie picnic!

Omg - how gorgeous, and joeys coat looks super glossy too.... one very well looked after pooch, let alone the two of them being best buds - you can't beat friends like that😍

Luckily my sister picked up a 10wk old cocker spaniel pup yesterday, which means that he's about a week and half younger than Minnie - thanks, that's another close family member for play dates now.... it gets better by the day,as I can get Minnie to use up all her boundless energy, and get her socialised, just by visiting close family now, instead of Minnie freezing in this weather outside 😊 X

Its fun watching the dogs grow up together. We put a little doggie door in our fence so both dogs can run and play together in eachother's back yard.

That's a great idea - I keep trying to convince my neighbour(who really, really wants a dog,but works long hours) that we could do the same here.... on her way out in morning she just pushes him through the door, and the collects him on the way home each evening...., I think I'm slowly wearing her down 😝 X

The doggie gate was the best thing for our dogs. My neighbour and I worked opposite shifts so our dogs are hardly ever alone in their own homes.

We hardly ever close the gate.

Ravin and Joey like to mark eachothers property...so I'm always cleaning up after Joey and my neighbour is always cleaning up after Ravin :)

Yep,that sounds about right!!

Talking of cleaning up,I forgot to pack my poo bags when I went on Minnie's first walk last week.... it was only today that I actually had to use one of the ones I bought last minute to cover, and when I opened them up I realised that they're extra large - the bags are bigger than Minnie 😂😂

Too cute! I love my doggy, couldn't be without him. They make the best companions.

I'd be lost without my little "Luve bug". She brings me so much joy.

Fantastic!

My last dog (flat coated retriever) had a best friend (boxer) - we met when they were six month old puppies. Sixteen years on both dogs have long gone, but our friendship remains as strong as ever - we even carried on walking on Saturday mornings with no dogs!! I have another one now, so Saturday mornings are dog walking mornings again 😀xx

That's a lovely story, and exactly sums up why dog walking is so important for our mental health.... just look at the friendships you can get from it x

in reply toJEM95

That is such a lovely story, how the two of you still went walking after the loss of your dogs.
