I have seen the main eye consultant/surgeon this afternoon, he has Dx RA eye related phosis. Not bad enough for an eye op yet, thankfully, but have drops 3 times a day and a eye gel at night, for life !!! this is on top of the glaucoma drops I already have. The gift that keeps giving...My new eye problem started late September shortly after starting mtx when my left eyelid wouldn't open on its own at night and when I am tired. Has improved with new glasses about a month ago, my eyes are very dry and not to do with mtx. All this to add to the long list of repeat meds. My rheumy wanted me to see a neurologist, however will leave it at that for now. Just goes on...

RA - the gift that keeps on giving, how true! Poor you, even more meds. :-( I hope at least the drops help. Xxx

Hi Nanafifi. Thanks for your reply, I hope so too, seems never ending sometimes, wasn't keen on putting one lot of drops in let alone 5. Lol ! Still if it keeps an op at bay, that has to be good. All the best to you. Xx
