Hello, I'm a newbie to this site. I'm 64 and had RA for 5 years. It's difficult living in a body that does not want to work.

Oh your in good company then as most of us on here are in the same boat as you are darling.xxxxx
Welcome & I hope it helps being here, you're amongst those who know exactly what you mean when those around you don't! We're always sharing experiences so maybe something will click to help your body work that bit better.
Hello Mickey, I'm sure you'll find good support and help on this site. Have you spoken to someone at NRAS? I strongly believe that with patience there is light at the end of the tunnel for the majority of us. All the very best and keep in touch.
Hi Mickey1 - Welcome to the board. It IS hard especially when you have always gotten your body to work before this..
I don't mean to be rude but you are fortunate to have got to 59 before getting R A. I'm 58 and was diagnosed at 28 yrs. Take each day as it comes, be patient with yourself, try not to get frustrated and angry. You'll go through many emotions. I do wish you well xxxx
