Im having pain in my upper left arm. Its been getting steadily worse for about 5 months now. I can no longer evern lay on it. any suggestions

You need to get a diagnosis of whether it is caused by the joints in the arm/shoulder or by the nerves in the neck getting pinched.

You might find it helpful to sleep with a pillow in your armpit to support the arm, while you find out the cause.

I suffer terrible pins in my left arm. It is either a short sharp shock which takes my breath away or a long ache which goes on forever. I take co-codamol 30mg which sometimes helps but not always.
