Welcome marie66. Sorry to hear you're diagnosed but I hope you'll find it helpful being here with others in the same club! MTX has been great for me for 7 years so I hope you respond well to it too.
If you have any questions or if there's anything we can help with you only need to ask, we've lots of information to share, there's little we haven't discussed! It's a great site full of useful things autoimmune-wise or if you just want to have a rant, feel free, we understand better than anyone can.

Hi there. My hubby was also diagnosed in March. Taking methotrexae and sulfasalazine etc etc. Let us know how you're doing. Wish you well. Sue xx
Hi Marie66, and welcome.
Quite new to this too, recently diagnosed. It felt a bit overwhelming at first trying to take it all in, bit by bit helped plus writing things down. (Memory banks not what they once were )
Friendly, knowledgeable folk here, and loads of support, or if you just need a rant, so make yourself at home
Meds really help so many of us RDers, so wishing you better days ahead
Take care xxxx
Hi Marie,
Sorry to hear you've been diagnosed however I'm sure it is a relief also. It was for me when I saw my rheumatologist a month ago. I haven't been completely diagnosed but told that he thinks its RA and said theres lots of DMARDS and NSAIDS that will help. Ive recently had xrays and mri scans and my next apt is in 2 weeks time to discuss treatment he said. SO I assume that means I have RA.
I hope theyre helping you and you have plenty of support. I'm sure lots of people on here have expressed that we all have good information and support should you want to vent at any time.
Take care
x
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome - not typing much as fingers are soooo sore today! I'm still getting bloods done every 2 weeks and my wrist has started to come back down - well it doesn't look like someone else hand anymore to that's an improvement! M x
