Flare up

I was diagnosed with RA about 18 months ago and fibromyalgia this Jan. Having a tough few days at moment, hoping it is just a flare tho. do any females experience any period issues and or hot flushes?

Hiya Julou & welcome. I'm over that particular 'period' of my life but of course following that we meet with another! So yes at 55, 56 next month I get hot flushes but been very fortunate & I've managed quite well without HRT. I know they can be very debilitating for some though & more so for us as RD itself can have a part to play. We've discussed this before, questioned whether hormones have a part to play so if you're struggling it might be helpful to see your GP?
