Hi Misz, I'm quite new to the site but have had RA since 2001. My medication was changed and it's thrown up some problems - generally feel well but have strange burning pains in my feet. Started in Feb so I'm fed up with it now! The Rheumatology team are being as helpful as they can but it's all trial and error as you will probably discover. I hope your team find the right combination of drugs for YOU quickly and you have as few side effects as possible.

Aw I hope it all settles down soon. I was diagnosed at 2 but left hospital care at 16 because they thought I was making it up. I went back under hospital care at 18 and I can't even count the amount of treatments I've been through. I'm currently receiving tocilizumab every two weeks and have been for the past two years but it seems to be slowly losing effect.. I really hope your meds calm down :)

Hi Mariama, you've obviously been through a lot. Nothing seems to work for ever, which is one of the "joys" of RA and related conditions. My aunt is now 78 but has suffered since the age of 12. She's frail but fighting on and we have a regular chat and moan then go onto other happier things. Hope you get prescribed something else that helps soon

Hi hello and welcome to the pain gang.

Folks on the site are not doctors and as such not allowed to give medical advice but boy is there some wealth of experience on this site which more than compensates for it.
