Morning All, hope everyone is hopefully in not too much pain. I am in need of advice. I have just changed to MTX injections plus HCQ and steroids to name a few meds. This morning I have woken up with terrible Iritation at the bottom of both my legs, just above the ankles. Anyone had this and could it be the meds. Have a good day all.

Seems odd, I wouldn't have thought changing to injections would cause a reaction, it didn't with me but the old chestnut is we're all different! As is asking your Rheumy nurse but I think that's what I'd do Mary. In the meantime I find aloe vera gel is excellent at calming skin irritation, always used it when I had aloe vera plants but pure gel is available in most high street health stores & chemists. x

Oh good, but if it doesn't calm the itch do contact her anyway even though you're due to see her, she may be able to help & she'll be aware too. x
