Butterscotch, I think you're using the "Write a post" incorrectly, it's for a new thread & not replying. When you wish to reply to a response to your question you'll see a "reply" in green underneath the comment, just click on that & a box will open for you to reply. Leave your message & click on the "Submit reply" & your reply will be alerted to the person you're replying to. That way it all remains on the same thread. Takes getting some used to but you'll get the hang of it.
