Hello everyone.
I have not received a definite diagnosis yet, my consultant is torn between R A and Psoriasis Arthritis. I am on Mtx which has been increased to 20 mg.
I now have pain and inflammation in my fingers and wrists, seems to be spreading to my elbows now. It's getting me down. I am hoping things will get better soon.
Hello Tee-Cee, welcome to the site although sorry you have to be here!! You will find it a great help to you and yes it is scary in the early days to get to grips with it. Hello Tee-Cee. Sorry you are diagnosed with some sort of inflammatory arthritis. Methotrexate can take a fair while to work but it can be very effective for many people - me included although I'm off drugs now. Meanwhile welcome to this very supportive community. X
