Coming off pred after two and a bit years

well my visit to rheumy last Friday resulted in me having to come off pred as I have developed the classic moon face, gained huge amount of weight, hump back. I also had to come off the sanomigran as it sent my liver in to overload again, but I am not sad about that as I have my brain back and I can stay awake at work. The vision loss is another kettle of fish and I have to go have an echocardiagram to see what my heart is doing, my guess is it will all be fine. Rheumy spoke to my cardiologist while I was there who thought it may have been a blood clot passing through. So now I am also on aspirin to thin my blood. I donated 6 vials of blood for further testing and I guess when I go back next year some time I will find out what it all showed. So wish me luck, the first 2 1/2 mg drop off pred made me sleep almost comatose for half a day! hahahah My one big fear is that I will only have enbrel and hydroxy to manage on and as yet the enbrel still hasn't kicked in enough and I now feel like I am going backwards. Ho hum
