Pins and needles only in little finger for more than a week
hi kaileo,
there is something called "peripheral neuropathy" which matches the symptoms you describe. I have put a link to the section on the NHS website about this for you:
nhs.uk/Conditions/Periphera...
However, it always best to check out any unusual symptoms if they persist with your GP. Hope this helps.

I have something called small fiber neuropathy as part of my RA. It did start as pins and needles but widespread and bilateral rather than only in one finger. I would get this checked out with your GP. It could be nerve entrapment as part of RA inflammation, but there are other autoimmune types of inflammatory neuropathy which can start in this way too so it is important to flag it up to your health professionals soon I would say.
Did a doctor suggest that maybe something is out on your neck? I'm sorry if I am way off base. I had tingly pinky and ring fingers and a chiropractor said it was because something was out on my neck. An adjustment or two fixed it for me.
I now have neuropathy. Mine moved pretty much like Twitchy toes' did.
I like her advice. A lot.
Could it be Cubital Tunnel Syndrome? This is similar to carpal tunnel but instead is when the nerve is pressed in the elbow joint due to swelling or joint damage (carpal tunnel is where a nerve is pressed in the wrist joint). The main symptom of Cubital Tunnel Syndrome is tingling and numbness of the little finger and sometimes half (lengthways) of the ring finger.
Definitely get it checked out by doctor or Rheumy team.
