Poppies at the Tower of London.

What a day i have had. We caught the 8.35 am from Bedworth railway station, then Coventry and onwards to London. We got a taxi from Euston over to the tower. I have never seen so many people in all my life. The man who is with my hubby in my other post said some football clubs would love to have that many people at a football match. He came with us as well. The poppies are really something. When you get to edge the poppies are glorious. I have some lovely photos that i will post on Facebook. We got back about 4.30 pm and i am just so exhausted. My ankle that got broke in May was very swollen so i am sitting here with a bag of frozen peas on it.

Hugs everyone.xxx

Thank you.xxx

Hi sylvi,

I went to see them last week and it was so crowded! Very moving though and interesting to watch them adding new poppies. Hope your ankle eases up soon.

Best wishes,

Ruth

Paula you are not alone darling in suffering. I don't post as much when i am suffering. My daughters flatmate said he knew i was suffering on Sunday as i wasn't posting. If i have a good day like yesterday i will suffer the next and yes i am this morning. Big hugs darling. Will someone please tell me how to get onto the remission mission wall. Thanks xxx

Its true Sylvi, we save all our energy up for a nice day out or special event but then pay as a result. Still it's good to keep on pushing ourselves. My husband always tells me to rest but we have to find a balance don't we. Those memories you made will be with you always. The remission mission should be here remission.nras.org.uk/

If that doesn't work just go to the nras site and its under all the latest news. Im about four down from Dr Hilary Jones lol x

The nice thing about today was there was no charge for seeing them . The weather was lovely as well. Xxx

That probably accounts for how crowded it is but I imagine many would be prepared to at least make a token donation, the taking split between appropriate charities like HFH etc. How nice the weather was lovely too...bonus!
