Leflumide urine infections

Does anyone else get urine infections an cystitis while on leflumide would appreciate any advice. Apart from this it works well for me .

No experience of that, but I'd wonder if you are drinking enough water during the day? Some of these meds really do need you to drink a reasonable amount of water, to adequately flush through the byproducts when the meds metabolise in your body. If you don't drink enough, then it could be changing the acidity or alkalinity of your urine, creating an environment that allows bugs to multiple a lot easier.

Thank you earth witch . You could be right.......I also had a couple of small glasses of wine which could have added to the problem. I will make sure I drink more water an see if that helps. It's the only side effect I have tho a very painful one. Thanks again for your advice .

Cranberry tablets or juice are supposed to be helpful in keeping the bladder clean, and plenty of water, too as Earthwitch says. Clemmie
