NRAS are pleased to support this important piece of research into the impact of all forms of arthritis on working lives.

Researchers from The Work Foundation are looking to interview working age people over the telephone about their experiences of managing conditions that affect the joints, muscles and bones (musculoskeletal conditions) and work. The interviews will form part of a piece of research looking at self-management and employment.

To be eligible to be interviewed you need to:

-Have a diagnosis of a condition that affects the joints, muscles or bones (e.g. rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, gout, etc.).

-Be either currently working, or planning to return to work in the future.

Interviews will be conducted over the telephone, at a time that is convenient for you. All of your answers will be treated completely confidentially. Participants have the right to withdraw from the interview process at any time, without having to give a reason.

The research is being conducted by The Work Foundation, a research organisation that works to improve the employment opportunities of people with arthritis and other chronic conditions. By participating in this research, you will be making a valuable contribution to improving the employment outcomes and working lives of people with arthritis.

To express an interest in participating, ask any questions, or to receive more information, please contact:
