I cant suss how to post pics but I thought it might be worth doing a group one .

We all have a rubbish time and I thought if we focused on the tiny positive things we might feel a little bit better .

I will try to do a post every few days but if anyone wants to put a post on just title it 100 happy days . If u think I mad tell me xx

I wont cry x

Right mine for today

A friend had similar symptoms and came for a lovely chat. She brought me a handmade bracelet with an angel charm which I love

What a nice positive idea for a post :)

My positive thing for today: My sister is visiting today and I haven't seen her for 6 months (and then it was at a funeral so not exactly the right time to chat lol). We'll meet after my Simponi injection (another positive thing!) and have tea and go shopping.

I keep thinking about this as I struggle to clean my flat in a fog of post-Prednisolone fatigue :)

xx

What a brilliant idea! Put our energy into positive things. I will concentrate on what I CAN do today, not what I can't!

Great idea, my positive thing is that last night I watched my sister perform in a choir in a 1950s ballroom which was amazing (completely exhausted today but it was worth it). x

Great idea to talk about positive things.

Downside is that have had a severe reaction to enbrel since my knee op. Appointment on Tuesday to discuss alternatives.

Upside is that I'm going for a long weekend in France on the 14th, hotel room has a balcony overlooking the sea, on the Med! First time for years that I'll be able to walk more than a few steps, with my new knee. My youngest daughter is coming too. Haven't had time on my own with her for years too!

I'm as excited as a two year old, can't wait! M x

Tell us about your knee. HOW LONG AGO since the op?

6 weeks. It has been wonderful to have less pain and more mobility, but unfortunately each injection since I restarted enbrel has resulted in massive sores. My RA nurse thinks I've become sensitised to it after having to stop it for the op! It's one step forward and two steps back!

Hope it works well for you! M x

Mine wasn't for today but yesterday but seeing as you only posted this great idea today hope you'll forgive me because it was a milestone for me. Do you think I'm taking this too literally!!? lol.

Someone listened & didn't rebuff me when I said I have RD. It felt like a corner had been turned. AND the response I've had from the members of this smashing forum when I shared my experience. A huge thank you all who have replied saying they'll join the push to get it out there.

My good things for today: the sun is finally shining again and I'll go for a walk and a tea in the park this morning. Also, the nice weather means I can finally use my bike again and cycle to my work colleague's birthday party this afternoon :)
