Hi i have been on it for nearly 2 years now. I dont suffer with any side effects only tiredness the next day. My esr levels are also down but i still suffer with joint pain & stiffness, but i would tell anyone who is offered this to have it. Glad you are going in the right direction :-) Alison xx

Thank you. I'm sure this condition will be either cured or manageable before too long for most sufferers. I feel really privileged to be on the ACT TAPER trial where the effects of slowly removing methotrexate can be clinically tested. All this research is why there is so much more hope of a better prognosis than ever before. I'm only too grateful I didn't contract this when I was 28 so let's hope your improvement is long term. When you're 60 I'll be pushing up daisies long since. Wonder what they look like from a root perspective.

Well done Harry and a big thank you for the positive post.

I am due to start RoActemere on the 1-5-14. I have failed leflonomide/Humira/cimzia. I am still on mxt although it has been reduced.

I was not looking forward to starting the infusions. Because I had such a severe reaction to cimzia.

You have give me the courage to try this one with an open mind, will let you know how I get on.

Kindest regards

Carole
