Well after almost 3 months wait my appointment with the rheumatologist is here. I have taken your advice I go armed with photos and a pain diary. I feel so much riding on this one appointment will they dismiss me and say live with it there are people far worse off than you. Or take me seriously and find out why I am in pain every single day and give me a label so at least I can say yes I don't feel quite up to it because I have ...

After having the steroid injections in my feet which worked on my feet for about 10 days I did feel generally better not as tired each day that lasted about 3 weeks.

Oh well not long now I will update you later...

May thanks for the reply you were right bob. I have had a really good appointment. He was very thorough and patient.

He could see straight away there was something going on. I have had loads of blood tests and although no name yet for the inflammatory arthritis he said my previous blood tests have shown positive for sjorens syndrome which to be honest I don't know too much about but explains the dry eyes sore mouth and nose.

He has started me on hydroxy 200mg and I go back in 6 months.

There was a lot to take in so now I will do a bit of reading and hope the tablets work quickly with no side effects..not asking to much I hope.

Thanks again for the support
