Haha......yes I just got it going myself.......what a relief......I accidentally knocked my very expensive present of an iPad to the ground and when I couldn't get any of the pages to move I thought I had damaged it......thew.....I need a drink after that......

Have you got a case for your iPad? I've got mine in an otterbox case. You can literally drop it out a second story window without damage. Look on YouTube to see it! As I travel quite a lot it does get bounced around a fair bit so it's worth the money.

Thanks, I'll have a look at that.....my heart was thumping when I thought I damaged it.....especially as it was a present.

I'm not able to send new private messages. Anyone got the same problem?

No the only problem I had was on here so it must have been a NRAS problem......

dtech in reply to Trulyfedup

Trulyfedup in reply to dtech

There's definitely a Belgian chocolate baileys on the market, I saw an ad for it yesterday, maybe your next purchase?

Trulyfedup profile image
Trulyfedup

Mary!!

You are now officially a fallen woman!!

Did you know Terry Wogan was partial to Baileys, he once said he needed to drink two bottles to get through each Eurovision Song Contest

Sounds like he's your soulmate but please don't descend into a love of strange European music..............xx

I need a bottle of the stuff to enable me to watch it.! A Fallen woman??? The only thing I've fallen of is my bed

Years ago I went to Midnight Mason Christmas Eve...I had drunk nearly two bottles throughout the day...it helped me get through peeling the Brussels ..I was so Tiddily Imy head was on a par with my knees whilst standing in a pew. My friends took me outside the church, called a taxi and left me hanging on a wall. Maryx

A fallen woman and a lapsed catholic, you've almost got the set!!

How did the ice cream go in the end?

Trulyfedup profile image
Trulyfedup in reply to Ronnie63

It should be "WHERE did the ice ream go?" not HOW" did it go....it went very well down my throat into my Tum. I'm studying the correct way to be a fallen woman...it takes time so I.ll have to keep on trying and practising .maryx

Midnight Mason? Did they all have their trouser legs rolled up and giving funny hand shakes in the church??

Ronnie63 profile image
Ronnie63 in reply to dtech

Mary did mean Mason as in James, given her idol is Eddie Izzard and he always lapses into James mason :-)

Trulyfedup profile image
Trulyfedup in reply to dtech

Very good! !!!! I meant to say midnight mass!!! The people behind me were something funny with their hands and they all had one trouser leg higher than the other...perhaps that was due to the chicken . Maryx

Ronnie63 profile image
Ronnie63 in reply to Trulyfedup

The chicken?? Now I am confused x

in reply to Ronnie63

Me too! I'm loving this thread though :)

:-)

MARY?? What's with the chicken? X

Trulyfedup profile image
Trulyfedup

You're confused...not as much as the chicken..first time they had been taken in a church!

It was the chicken for Christmas Day...but she knew that if we named her..we wouldn't be able to eat her.

Hope this helps...I think I need help!!!! Maryx

in reply to Trulyfedup

Mary.....you are hilarious!!! You've brightened my evening :) x

Trulyfedup profile image
Trulyfedup

We took her with us because my cats might have killed her...she wouldn't be safe at home.

Actually, I used chicken because I thought masons walk in with a chicken on their head or something very similar.

I haven't actually got c clue what I'm talking about...do you know? Maryx

in reply to Trulyfedup

Mary, I've haven't got a clue but maybe the others will? X :)

Trulyfedup profile image
Trulyfedup

It was so embarrassing taking her home in the taxi with me...the driver nearly had a fit when a hens head poked out from under my coat! Maryx

Trulyfedup profile image
Trulyfedup

And also it proved very difficult trying to get a hen to light a candle...her cousin twice removed had been bar- b- q. And she had never got over it. She said it was difficult watching as some human eats your family legs.maryx

Trulyfedup profile image
Trulyfedup

Oh my gaud....I hope I got away with it. No wonder I didn't understand it when they said she would have made a good jumper.maryx

Trulyfedup profile image
Trulyfedup

Yes you're probably right, maryx

Why did the chicken cross the road?

Please choose one of the following options:

a) to avoid the bailifs?

b) to avoid the bay leaves?

c) to avoid the Baileys?

My money's on c............................:-)

Trulyfedup profile image
Trulyfedup in reply to Ronnie63

You.ve made me really laugh. My chicken crossed the road to buy MORE Baileys...it's very difficult trying to catch a drunk chicken! Maryx
