Hi All my daughter has started Methatrexate 10mg for arthritis 10mg , week 3 and still loose stool, no sleep not eating . anyone like this?

Hi, many of us are on MTX and it affects all of us differently ...your daughter can get help form her rheum. Team. There is also a help line for NRAS - will try and find the number.

Of course here, she , and you , will get as much support as we can offer

I would contact her rheumy nurse for advice. It does take a while for your body to adjust. With me I vomitted on and off til' my body got used to it. Make sure she keeps her fluids up to flush it through her body and try and keep her glucose and salt intake up. If it doesn't settle make a call, it could be she needs to adjust her folic acid tablets too. Hope she feels better soon x
