Rheumatoid Nodules.

Hi all, Iv not been on here for a long time. Was at hospital yesterday for results from my respiratory consultant. I had breathing tests done. And a CT scan. Tests came back I have emphysema. And CT scan says I have Rheumatoid nodules. Has anyone else got Rheumatoid Nodules?

Sorry for your bad news, I have COPD so I know it isn't fun, when I went for breathing tests they said I wasn't breathing in enough lol so I told them the only way to get more air in my lungs was to shove a valve up my bum and blow, hehehehe they didn't like that lol but cheered me up or the day.

Hi, I have these too. 2O-35% of people with RA get rheumatoid nodules - some of these happen to be in the lungs. Unless they're causing a specific problem they normally leave them alone and they can subside and disappear. They're most common in men aged 5O- 6O who are smokers or ex-smokers. I'm female and have never smoked and was younger than this when they raised their ugly head - go figure!

Seems like the emphysema is your bigger problem
