hello, I can't help you as still have my original hips. But just wanted to say that this site has just been upgraded, so a lot of the people who use it regularly are having problems logging on, so may take longer than normal for somebody who has had the same op to reply to you... Must be very frustrating, but always seem to me that anything to do with RA takes a loooong time! polly

Thanks for the above polly.

Hi there,

I am a bit of a veteran when it comes to hip replacements, having had both replaced and revised several times. 4 weeks is not a lot of time, and don't worry, it will be so good and you'll find your feet, so to speak, in no time. Sometimes, there is a slight difference in leg length after replacement, perhaps, you could have that checked at your next appointment.

Good luck for the coming weeks, and think, no pain and much better mobility is coming your way.
