I to love Brighton its a great place to be. Must be the sea air xx
That's where I come from well lancing my dad lived in Brighton I won't live back there I love the Yorkshire dales to much but if you like it go for it xxxx
I think someone on this site told us he lives there and, if I remember rightly, the rheumy service is very, very overstretched. That's what I would research if I were you, although it depends what kind of service you receive now of course because its all relative. Tilda
not a very good service here every 4 to 5 months to see them and soon as im in im being pushed back out of the door and the attitude of the doctors their is disgusting
Well it could actually be worse. I only see my rheumy once a year and have no rheumy nurse. But that's because I live on an island supposedly. However I do know of quite a few people who have it as bad or worse than me and most if them are in England. So I still advise you to check out what kind of a rheumy service you would receive in Brighton.
Be careful,at the moment I'm living on the East coast. It's great in the summer but in the winter it's bitterly cold with a strong wind that comes off the sea which makes it impossible to walk along the beach. It's also bad for my RA. I long to get back to London sorry!! x
my parents live in Norfolk and been their in the winter I never go up again to cold
Hi there, I live in Brighton and have done for the last 15 years. You need to visit Brighton a few times, well more than that if you are planning on living here. There is a lot more to the city than the seafront and the Pier. Then check with the hospital, The Royal Sussex County Hospital, you need to know what part of Brighton you want to live in so you can check out GP. Dentist, schools if applicable, work etc. Please think long and hard about moving, all of your friends and family won't be with you and if you are not in good health you'll need support. Get in touch with the local council they will give you advise about moving. One other thing, the RA team isn't so good, there are big changes going on and it is hard to find out what's what so get in touch with them. I wish you good health and a happy move if you decide to come and live here.
