As I said it's much funnier to see you struggle lol :)

Oh great well done for not having gout on top of RA Allanah! I could tell you were really struggling with the thought of gout and no wonder. Collecting autoimmune diseases is grim.

Now you can just get out the icepacks and the red wine and focus on getting yourself ready for Glastonbury (via Hogwarts)! xx

Cheers, just settling down to watch Lincoln on box office, Katy at a party, Ian at awards ere only so whole evening alone, bliss, but not for more than one night, I hate my own company!

I look good in this suit?

Ha ha you look glam in anything Allanah - I can tell just by your profile pic! We have just watched Question Time from last night in Edinburgh. I felt very cheered by all these articulate young Scots - even the one who wanted to talk about extra terrestrials/ UFOs!

It's been such a lovely day here I may drag husband off for a walk now. Enjoy your own company and Lincoln tonight. X

I suppose I could end by asking ' when shall we three meet again?'

allanah profile image
allanah in reply to dtech

We'll meet again don't know where don't know when, altogether now.

And at least I will be able to walk there as no gout!!

I think I'll give up with the Macbeth allusions then:-( I thought you and Tilda would appreciate it being Scots?

allanah profile image
allanah in reply to dtech

Hee Hee , just don't want to mention the Scottish play, might bring on gout lol

gout is usually overweight port drinking and stilton eating males.. sexist or what??!!, but true x

Very true, there's a few where I work, all the ones who go to lots of expenses paid lunches and dinners (virtually exclusively men!!)

Gout can be cured by eating half a tin of cherries, it works though takes a little longer than GP's pills.

Congrats on not having gout! I have empathy with you for the baker's cyst though, I have one too. Blimmin' painful! Lying on the sofa and demanding sympathy works well. ;)

allanah profile image
allanah in reply to

Not in this house!! Worked when I first got RA 2 years ago now it's ... Get on with it ! :)

in reply to allanah

I don't usually get much sympathy but I roll up my trousers, show them the cyst and it sparks up some love! ;)

in reply to

But it's true, in this game, we do sometimes just have to get on with it, despite the pain. x

Ye if they see I'm struggling they r great but I think a lot of the time I'm like , it's ok, I'm fine etc! So I am my own worst enemy! But I am trying to rest it so I can kill myself in glasto!!
