Does Anyone speak Cat

Just recently our cat Blue has really started trying to talk to us. We have worked out the sounds that mean" Feed Me I am hungry." "Let me out I want to chase birds" " I am just about to do a toilet visit get the air freshener". So if anyone knows of any language courses please let me know. Ta very much.

I've just read a brilliant book by Claire Bessant called 'The Cat Whisperer'. My relationship with my two cats Tabby & Whizzer is on a whole new level now....!! Although with Whizz he just has 1 sentence....."Feed Me"....

We house sit our neighbours cat when they are away and he talks to us and he soon lets us know what he wants..xx

my neighbours cat visits me and sits in my garden, he isn't much of a snugglebum but usually lets me stroke him - if i try to pick him up to cuddle him though you should hear the obsenities coming out of his mouth! lol! language like that makes me wsh i didn't understand cat speak! lol

My cats made all sorts of noises that I knew what they meant but the strangest wasn't voice but body language, laying 6 mice in a perfect row head to the door and meowing and I think smiling to say hey I got u a present!

My cat brings mice in,but alive! Then waits for wife to spot it,scream for me and then sits back to watch the fun of me chasing the mouse and trying to evict it?

Our little Tuppence is very vocal and we're beginning to understand what each different meow means, but sometimes she goes up the hallway and just stands meowing the type of meow that cats make when another cat comes into their territory and they are facing each other off.

She is just 8 months old, Do you think she might be practicing her skills ?

She could be. Blue has just discovered fly catching and jumps incredibly high trying to catch them.

Secret life of your Cat by Vicky Halls ( I have read so many cat books over the years!) and another two she has written on behaviour. I found these better than most. Also I got a book recently called Twisted Whisker which is a book about behaviour as you might have gathered from the excellent title!! It is a good all round book though. I have a very high maintenance puss. A beautiful long haired black and White old male who is very kittenish but never stops wailing and complaining. He is the Victor Meldrew of cats!!! Sometimes my cat hardly draws breath between miaows. You get to know what they mean and definitely the tone in which they say it! I swear my cat said Ste-ven as he came in past my husband last week!!!!! Ha ha , sounded just like it! ;-).

How funny they are amazing. My cats worse fault is climbing up my curtains in thelounge. They are well and truly ruined. Good job i love him.

our cat minka who was a main coon used to talk to me and i would talk back and she would carry on talking till i stopped not a clue what we where on about.

BUT ONE DAY I SAID TO MY MATE OUR CAT IS SO INTELEGENT HE GOES TO THE PATIO DOOR ASKEDS IN HIS OWN WAY FOR IT TO BE OPENED GOES TO THE BOTTOM OF THE GARDEN

DIGGS A HOLE DOES HIS DIRT COVERS IT UP AND COMES BACK IN

MY MATE SAID DONT BE STUPID ALL BLEEDING CAT DO THAT

IS SAID not with a bloody spade they dont lol lol

Our cat wanders into the bedroom in the morning,stands in th doorway and miaows hello.She does actually say hello in a high pitched kitty voice.It has totally freaked a few overnight visitors out.She doesn't stop until someone gets up to feed her.
