Rheumy today....meds upped.... Got engaged... :-)

Hi everyone.....saw a consultant today......he has upped my MTX to 20mgs.....and im also now on Amitriptyline....had a steroid jab in me butt...... And thankfully MRI showed mechanicle damage to my lower spine not OA as suspected..... Been on MTX 4 weeks now...no improvement yet...but i know its early days, my fingers and hips and knee are sooo painful, and im fed up of wanting to sleep all the time, ive got no enthusiasm for life and its half term next week, and aswell as my 8 yr old princess to look after i'll have my 6 month old grandaughter here n there...... BUT on a really positive and lovely note....my partner of 5 years proposed saturday just gone and ive got a gawjus diamond ring ( we had it made half a size bigger bcoz of wen fingers swell) ..... So im very happy but tired....lol....hope everyone is as comfortable as can be expected....and not suffering more as a result of our ATROCIOUS WEATHER.......x x
