Hi All

I'm not boasting, but telling you what I've done to see if you lovely Ladies and Gents can come up with an idea to make a bit more money for NRAS.

I put a bid on a TShirt in the auction for The Scott Quinell signed shirt. I've bought that to hopefully get our lovely Rugby club to auction for more money, so I'm recycling it.

I also won 3 more they were going for quite dissapointing money, so I bid my last months bonus from work. Oh Oh!! and have won

Nicky Campbell £6.49

Sarah Outon youngest person to row across the Indian ocean I got that for £5.19

Ian Pace Deep Purple drummer £15.99

So what do you think, how can we recycle these Tshirts Rowing clubs, celeb websites, I'm sure we can come up with something. I'll donate the shirt to whoever thinks they can get more for it for NRAS.

Get those thinking caps on.

message me if you prefer to be private.

Thank you

Hey well done you! I've just been back to have a look to see how the auctions were going only to find they'd finished! Not a good day today ... have been running behind since the minute I got up!

Tricia, that was such a generous thing to do, it has left me with a big smile on my face :) - no, even bigger! Great idea for the rugby shirt. Will put my thinking cap on!!

Hi Lyn

Thank you for your thanks, I was always going to bid o the Scott Quinell TShirt, wonder if he would model it? racey thoughts, but as I said when I saw the other shirts had just £5 and a bit on them I decided to do what I did. So I blew my bonus, it was only £50 I'm saying only but as a travel consultant we have been working jolly hard from early last year with BA strikes, Riots in Egypt, Volcano's and anything else we did. I'm now on SSP as the bosses changed our contracts and we only get 10 days paid sick, and you had to have worked for them for over 5 yearsto get that.

whoh! where did that come from I'm off to make me a cup of coffee thanks for letting me sound off I didn't realise I'd had any issues.

have a good day today Lyn and slow down as you'll meet yourself coming back.

Lovely idea Alison but already have a lot on travelwise in the coming months. Finalising university visits for twin sons is taking me all over the place, Lincoln, Oxford, Bangor, Leeds to name a few and then we have the Stratford get together on the 7th May and the NRAS birthday on 30 June! No job, little income, many miles and sore joints! Don't think I can fit anything else in!!

Perhaps something later in the year? We could all save up then and plan ahead!
