Fuzzy head yesterday. Anybody else having physical side effects of not smoking?
Welcome Storm2021, well done on 4 days smoke free!
What you are experiencing at the moment is perfectly normal as your body and brain begins the gradual process of rewiring and repairing,
Have a read of below pinned post if not already done so.
Yes! Physical withdrawal is debilitating! I had every symptom. But now four months no SMOKING I’m finally over the hump!
Yeah I'm on day 9 and still getting the night sweats, anxiety and fog brain.
Well done on your 4 days smoke free!!
Well done on day 9.I feel quite crap tbh. Sleep is definitely disturbed and my mouth is constantly dry.
I will push through these horrible side effects.
My sleep hasn't been great either. It will be worth it in the end. Our body is having a clear out at the moment. Have a look at this link. It always good knowing it not just us.

Hey Lastquit , by any chance, are you drinking coffee?
🤣🤣 shows I'm on here a bit RoisinO1
Aw, not at all Lastquit was genuinely asking as caffeine can cause heightened anxiety when we stop smoking 😀 I stopped drinking it when I gave up smoking 7 years ago due to anxiety and only have an odd cup nowadays☕
I do like a cup of tea! But I have dropped my intake of caffeine. I have been drinking a lot of water at the moment.
I can get off to sleep alright, just keep waking up in the night, and it takes me ages to get back to sleep 😴
Yeah, unfortunately, the sleep disruption is a given when we stop and will continue for a few weeks. The anxiety too but great you are drinking water, get out as much as you can in the fresh air will help also. You are doing great!
Thanks. I really appreciate the support 😊
