Well done on day 9.I feel quite crap tbh. Sleep is definitely disturbed and my mouth is constantly dry.

I will push through these horrible side effects.

My sleep hasn't been great either. It will be worth it in the end. Our body is having a clear out at the moment. Have a look at this link. It always good knowing it not just us.

Aw, not at all Lastquit was genuinely asking as caffeine can cause heightened anxiety when we stop smoking 😀 I stopped drinking it when I gave up smoking 7 years ago due to anxiety and only have an odd cup nowadays☕

I do like a cup of tea! But I have dropped my intake of caffeine. I have been drinking a lot of water at the moment.

I can get off to sleep alright, just keep waking up in the night, and it takes me ages to get back to sleep 😴

Yeah, unfortunately, the sleep disruption is a given when we stop and will continue for a few weeks. The anxiety too but great you are drinking water, get out as much as you can in the fresh air will help also. You are doing great!

PS Sleep disruption is the most common withdrawal from nicotine and will pass.
