Hey CLARAmay , did have tiredness the first few weeks I stopped. If still extreme tiredness at over 9 months perhaps you are lacking in something. If not already done, maybe get your bloods checked. Magnesium, loads and loads of water, lots of fruit and vegetables and out for a bit of a walk every day will all with help with this.

Wishing you continued strength 🚶‍♀️💪🍇🍈🍉🍊🍎🍏🥒🥑🚭

If your bloods ok and taking supplements, perhaps it is a side effect from your pain medication you are taking. Either way, hope it improves for you...

Yes I did for first week or two. I think it’s because nicotine is a stimulant. So once it leaves our bodies, we relax and feel tired for the first time. You’ll sleep it off and be right as rain in no time.

Hey Quit4Money - I was the same with the tiredness for the first few weeks but Clara will be a year smoke free in February and is still suffering from extreme tiredness, thats why I suggested getting bloods checked, what do you think?

Hi Roisin01 , my bloods are algood , I know I suffered from glandular fever as a child and there’s also not enough research done on that disease yet.

Could be your body repairing after you've abused it with cigarettes. I was tired for about two years but if you feel unsure get yourself checked out like others have said

Gee 2 years, that’s a long time, that didn’t cross my mine as I know the body can be quick to repair itself from other things.

I smoked for 27 years my body has been damaged. I've been quit 8 year's in June this year and only in the last 3 years have I felt the real benefits of quiting. It all takes time to level out and get over our drug addiction and the body to get back to how it's supposed to be. You could also be depressed as a chemical called continine is present in tobacco and it is actually an antidepressant.

Hi ggg123 thank you for your reply. I also suffer with chronic pain and it’s got worse since I gave up I don’t know if that has any thing to do with it too?

Did you know that nicotine actually eases pain and in women more than men too, so it seems you're right to feel that.

Try a magnesium glycinate supplement it will ease your pain, but I have to say you're going to go through a bad time for it to get better.....
