I was on champion years ago they do make you feel sick but with champions you don’t stop smoking straight away you have to ease yourself off the cigarettes that’s why I stopped taking them and went on to a vapour instead

Welcome. Champix will make you fèel sick at first it normally goes as you get used to it. Make sure you eat first banana was my choice im not really a breakfast person. If it fèels too bad you could go to a doctor and ask for anti sickness pills. Well done so far. X

I was sick (nausea) for the entire 12 weeks of taking Champix - but it helped me to quit and i am almost 9 months nicotine free :)

I could never go through that again - and that's what keeps me from not smoking.

You got this. And it's so worth it xx

What worked for me was to eat a real breakfast. Ate half took pill ate other half. Sometimes i would also half recline to left side for 15minutes. It helps digestion i was told and it did. Also once you actually quit the cigs some of the nausea goes away. It really is worth it and wont last as long as it seems. Try to just to focus on just today. You CAN DO this. We believe in you and have traveled the road youre now on. I smoked 35 years and NEVER thought i could quit. Guess what? I did! So can you. One day at a time and NOPE Not One Puff Ever have become my mantras. Also take a look at whyquit.com it's not really for chantix users but it helped me at first. Its not interactive like this but there are a lot of good reads that will help inspire you. I usually read them when i was feeling nauseaus actually. This too will pass. Will be looking forward to your progress. :)
