I get such a strong urge to smoke, I've not, that said I soooooo easily could.

But am trying to stay strong, in the hope mr nico will give up the fight in a little while.

There's always that one situation that triggers it lol

For me was going past the petrol station in the morning, I used to stop there and buy the cigarettes.

What I did to stop myself was stop carrying money or cards on me...ridiculous?!

It worked!

Funny enough I had the 2nd drawer on my kitchen filled with packs of cigarettes any day, that didn't bother me...but every time I went past the petrol station... God help me!

You are doing fantastic, I am so happy for you.

Before you know it, the week will be over.

Thank you, you lovely lady, pleased to know it's not just me .

not at all Tracey.

my colleagues at work were all laughing at me because if i decided to have a soup in the canteen or forgot my lunch I would have to ask the girls to pay them the next day...i attacked it all possible ways, I simply didnt trust myself.

It is a rotten addiction, but i remember the frustration of my last relapse too well...believe in yourself, I believe in you!

Hey Tracey, yeah that was a huge trigger for me aswell as I used to stop every evening after work and buy 40 cigs and whatever milk, bread etc... I would need - some evenings could spend up to €30 - €20 of that on cigs. I stopped going in for about 2 weeks to break the habit, hubby got anything I needed instead.

The first evening I went back in, the shop assistant had the 40 cigs on the counter for me as soon as I walked in and it was a huge turning point in my quit, I said to her "I no longer smoke, I gave up 3 weeks ago", she was as proud of me and to this day, maybe once a month she asks how I am doing and that is great what I have achieved.

So, it will pass your urge to smoke after work, you are doing so well, 1 week milestone is nearly here.

Hi Trace

How are you flower? So good to speak to you again, where are you now with your quit? You can do it you've proved that, I totally understand about desperately wanting a cig, it comes over you in waves doesn't it and then some days it's absolutely fine and I don't think of it at all! Xxx
