trying to become a quitter: Hello, I hope to... - No Smoking Day
trying to become a quitter
Good luck! Don't set yourself up for failure by thinking what might happen. Nicotine is out of the system by day three so peak of symptoms will pass also on day three. After that it will be easier and easier.
Ask yourself not "Why am I quitting?", ask yourself "Why should I smoke?"
Smoking doesn't have any positive effect on you and if you find any positive answer to this question - you need to work on your motivation a bit more.
And have this in mind, as one person put it nicely,: Life is not easier, but it is more comfortable as a non smoker.

Good luck bmdakk, bring all the motivation you can muster to the fight, it'll be a battle for sure. Read, read and read some more, the more you know the easier it'll be to recogonize what your dealing with each step of the way. Prepare, keep busy, post often, drink lots of water, stay strong. Remember your not the first, your not alone and hopefully your doing this for yourself.
Welcome bmdakk and huge congratulations on making the best decision of your life, I can't really offer any more advice other than above other than being 100% focused and determined in your quit - there is an excellent post up today from AnEggisanEgg for new quitters if you want to have a read of that. Wishing you every success in this battle - keep us updated on your progress.
