My reason is easy ...... £400 per month!!!!!!
Between myself and my oh we spend £600 per month on cigs .... I smoked way more than he does .... If we both quit then I could give up work! Lol

LOL great attitude Nixxy, my hubby actually gave up too because of the wastage of money too, our car gave in and needed to get a new one, for the repayments to be met, it was either no car or smokes! I actually do not want to know the sums on how much money we wasted away when we both smoked, in the past, best left there!!
I don't even dare start calculating how much money I could have saved if I hadn't been wasting it on smoking for the last 30 years Nixxy.
We all must have been crazy. Thankfully not any more though.
Just watch the cash start mounting up quickly now that you're not wasting it on smoking.

When I was smoking I was really struggling financially by the end of the month. It's a massive drain on the finances.
I had never calculated how much we spent on smoking before, however, a discussion one night at work caused me to add up our monthly outlay ...... I almost passed out in shock when I realised what we were spending!

Hi Nixxy - What I do is save the money I'd spend on smoking, by putting £50 a week in a tin. I realise this probably isn't an option for you, but every time I see someone lighting up now I think someone's effectively setting fire to a 50p piece (if that were possible), and giving themselves all sorts of health problems at the same time.
I am dreading Black Friday .... Since I work nights and oh works days we get one day a fortnight when we are both off work (and I'm not in bed) together .... Usually a Thursday .... However, he has f*cked up his days this week and is off on Fri (I have to work Fri night) .... So we need to do 90% of our Xmas shopping on Black Friday .... Before I go and work a 10hr night shift!!!!!
Nixxi I can smell the adrenaline and stress on your post all the way from here....and we're not even in the same country lol
The answer is: online shopping!!!!
That's what I'll be doing this year, no way I can put myself through the stress of Christmas shopping and black Friday.I nearly have a heart attack every morning with the bad drivers on the road just dropping the kids to school nevermind going for Christmas shopping!!!
