Thanks MMaya. 1 Year 1 month 1 week. I still read but don't always post. Will make more of an effort.

absolutely fantastic! I could be saying the same thing now because my original quit date was 31st oct 2014, then started having "just one" before Christmas and by January was back full on.

Stopped again 1st Feb and by 17th March I was one and off and back full on from April on...I'm such a loser!

I have to thank You mostly for pushing me back in September, I'm still here, I'll start week 9 today at 7pm and I'm very proud :)

I can't wait to the stage you are now...God helping me, I'll be there in 10 months :)

We've all been there, it's just knowing that if you slip up and have just one it IS just one. In my quits I usually have one a few weeks in, and it tastes disgusting and I don't go back until something draws me back. I hope it is different this time.

You are NOT a loser, you are a fighter and have done brilliantly to get this far. You will be at the stage of remembering you used to smoke now, but having no physical urges. Think back to two months ago - the thought of going half a day without one, never mind 9 weeks would have been inconceivable.

Don't be too hung up on smoking or not smoking. Just decide you are not going to have one and get on with your life. The longer you go without a fag the more of a memory it will become - something you used to do but has no relevance now. We all still need to remain vigilant, as anyone can slip back, but the only time I really think of smoking nowadays is when someone does it on television. If I'm tempted I just remind myself I'll have to got through all that day1 stuff again!

I will get there one way or the other!
