Going well. Yesterday I kept thinking my breath smelled smoky, not sure if it was just my mind playing tricks or maybe there's still smoke coming up from my lungs :s
Today I have hardly thought about smoking, and definitely had no cravings.

Good work Matt
I walked past someone who was having a tab this morning and the smell revolted me. I'm taking that as a good sign...
Are you from the north east?

No mate, from Yorkshire. My dad's side of the family originate up there, so hence the occasional use of the word 'tab' slipping into the mix
That's a horrible thought Debbieh, but a good incentive not to smoke again!!
Your lungs are getting rid of all the rubbish that is in there (all that it can anyway), which is another reason why you will cough for a while, your body is healing.
Congrats for staying strong Matt.
I say 'tab' too (caught it from OH who is from Yorkshire :))
I remember that sensation well, Matt, and as Debbie says it is quite normal and means your lungs are clearing themselves out a treat. You're not half doing well you know. Nearly two weeks down now. Fantastic mate!
I had that too it's very unnerving but defo take it as a good sign, better out than in and all that good work on 9 days smoke free this is a truly wonderful thing you are doing for yourself x
