(sneaks in through the door) .... Day 1 was last Monday but I caved yesterday and had 4 - another try today. x
Day 1 again: (sneaks in through the door... - No Smoking Day
Day 1 again
The main thing is that you haven't given up giving up, Yvonne.
Your far from the only one to have had a few false starts. There are many mighty Penthouse residents who were in the same boat in the early days. You're back in the saddle now so tighten up the tackle, grit your teeth and move forward. Don't let the recent slip do anything other than make you all the more determined to quit for good this time.
As others have said, you got back on track and that takes guts. We are all here for you and will offer support in whatever way we can. You will beat this!!!
Keep going Yvonne, your being true to yourself when you could quite easily have called it a blip, good on you, this is the one I wish you total success xxx
Hi Yvonne
You came back here because deep down you know This Is Your Time. So it's a little bumpy and not as smooth as you thought or wished. The initial cessation period is the worst. Accept and prepare. It has not been easy for anyone and you, dear Yvonne won't get an easy ride either. BUT, feel proud of every hour, every day you conquer. You are fighting an addiction....... just believe in yourself that you can do this. It would be repeating the obvious, all the negatives of smoking, you know all that, but the 'wanting to stop' is all yours, so it follows that the fight is all yours. Believe in your strength. Come here and unload. I went to hell and back in the first few months and had it not been for this forum, I would've relapsed. This is Home. You are not alone. Every day without lighting up is another notch to your success.
Hang in there. It will get better.
Best of luck
