Lloyd, that's fantastic mate! :D Halfway through your first month is a real achievement. You're well on the way now and it won't be long before the worst of the side effects (including the pants sleep pattern) are behind you I promise.

I hope that you get the chance to have a proper catch up on your sleep this weekend. A few drinks will probably help. :)

Congrats, keep it up! Day 9 (I think) for me now. I'm still getting the short tempered thing occasionally but it passes soon enough, especially when being busy. Are the cravings getting better? I think mine are getting a bit better, certainly the thought of actually having a fag is not so appealing! Sleeping is best it's been for ages (well as good as it can get with a one year old who wakes up every night!)

Hi Aw

the cravings come and go but they are manageable. I find a deep breath and slowly out helps. I also find that smoking my pen (may look odd) but that also helps....just the odd puff lol.

I know the feeling re the 1yo, thankfully my 3 are well past that now and the youngest is 6.

Lloydd an old poster on here used to put cotton wool in an inhalator (NRT product) with a few peppermint drops on and smoke that. I know you can't use the NRT but your champix person might have a spare inhalator.

Nearly two weeks - go you :)

I was thinking of getting a 0mg e cig just to suck on but didn't really want to do it....im not sure if it would help anyway

Use a bic pen with the pen bit removed...like you probably used to in school to pea-shoot out bits of paper at other kids but inhale instead of exhaling! :-)
