Day 4 and very irritable here too, I find turning a blind eye and death stares:mad: help! Lol, I have a nice cool sports water bottle here, sipping helps take the edge off for me ( or spraying anyone that pushes me too far but that's not happened yet:D)of course my drawer full of mints and sweets, do you have anything that can take your mind off the craves? Brushing your teeth, walk in the fresh air maybe?
the first few days are a pain! But your almost there! And doing absolutely brill! Keep going
The first days are pants with all kinds of bad moods but it does get so much better very quickly! Good idea with the water bottle, it really helps.
At the end of the day, you need to find what works for you. I started running, the couch to 5K program. Horrible at first, nearly puking after running 200 meters....7 weeks later and now I can do 5km and have started training for 10K
If you haven't read Allen Carrs easy way book, I would really recommend doing so. It really takes the myth out of stopping smoking and gets you into the right mental state....loads of people have been able to quit just by reading a book!
