Checked my quit meter for the first time in ages and here's what it said:
I haven't smoked in 867 days.
In that time, I've saved $4,805 that I would have spent on cigarettes.
I would have smoked 17,347 cigarettes in that time.
I think that's pretty good, right?
I think that is pretty awesome Dgee, well done to you and great to hear from you too.xxx
Thanks everybody!
My next goal is 1,000 days without a cigarette, which will occur on December 10th. It's such a cool number.
I'll have saved $5,500 by then, and not smoked 20,000 cigarettes.
I'm not here often, but when I am, I like to remind all the newbies that it can be done! I'm living proof. If someone had predicted these results for me during those first few days and weeks, I'd have laughed out loud.
But I did it - and so can you. Perseverance is my superpower. May it be yours as well.
Julie Andrews once said, "Perseverance is failing nineteen times, and succeeding the twentieth." That's exactly what I did.
