Hi, I have tried patches before and with determination i gave up for 4 years.
Like a fool i went back and started up again due to a really low period in my life
I have a question that i hope someone may know the answer too
Has anyone ever tried patches and using e-cigarettes at same time?
Now when i ask this i mean a nicotine free e-cigarette with just normal vapour
I was thinking i could stick with the patch program to take care of weaning off nicotine and have a e-cigarette for the times of dealing with the 2 minute thing as i call it. Even with patches you have the what to do with your fingers and still feel the somethings missing thing
Any help would be great thanks

Hiya,
I haven't used patches and an ecig at the same time I'm afraid although if u used a totally nicotine free one with your patches I would think it was safe as you wouldn't overdose on the nicotine.... They are rather expensive though and if you are thinking of buying one with the liquids starting off at 0% nicotine it seems quite a dear way to do it I paid £30 for my starter kit it has since been thrown away....I was using patches in my last quit and I have a plastic inhalator you can get the nicotine filled cartridges to go in them but the white plastic bit is just as effective for chewing on etc when used with patches if you did need them though you can put the cartridge in and use a patch safely... Cessation nurses here always give out 2 forms of NRT if you have a smoking cessation nurse in ur area they normally have spare inhalators and would probably let you have one
Hi, my choice of nrt, is the patch, as for me I need to get rid of the hand to mouth thing, but what ever helps is good we are all individual , and need different approaches .
