I am going out this evening to a bar with my friends to celebrate a birthday, i would say half the party is smokers and half not. I have been out a few times since I quit but always get nervous the day leading up to it. I have even asked for a cigarette when drunk, luckily my friends will always say no to me and I seem to forget instantly that I even asked, almost like i just asked them for the reaction or in that split second the nicotine monster could grasp me :S
anyhow has anyone used the e-cigerette on night outs? i mean the one that has no nicotine in it just water vapor or whatever...thinking about picking one up for tonight.

Spend the time with your non-smoker friends, and it's brilliant that your smoker friends won't give you a fag if you do ask!! Mine won't either which is a load off both our minds
If you think a non-nicotine e-cig is going to keep you off the real ones then it wouldn't be bad. am not a fan of the nicotine ones, but if you want a safety net, why not?
Haven't used one myself, but a couple of people on here have!!
I would say as carol said take one for back up, to be honest anything is better than smoking a real cig and when we have had a few drinks the guard is down, buy one, take it, you might not even use it I had a night out for my birthday recently I was worried about it too and I can honestly say it was the best night I had in ages, I didn't think of smoking, I didn't talk about smoking and everything was ok, I stuck to my non smoker friends like glue, my smoker friends didn't go out as much as they used to because we were having such a good time, I reckon you will be on here the day after saying it was fine x
was worried for no reason, hardly even thought about it and only use the e-smoke right after I bought it to see what it was like!!
Excellent! Sometimes it's the thought of going out isn't it, we worry will we want a fag when a bit tipsy but actually after the first night out it's fine, done onto the next night out Really glad you came through it unscathed :D
