Cant believe Ive made it this far, feeling like a non smoker now. Thanks to all for the wisdom and help. It felt like a massive mountain to climb when I first started but over time the climb got easier and the mountain turned into a small hill after a the first couple of months. Once I made it through Christmas I knew I could achieve what I had been trying to do for over 15 years. The one thing I did differently this time was that I persistantly stuck to the NOPE principal of Not One Puff Ever. If I could give one piece of advice it would be to stick rigidly to that principal and soon it becomes easier and easier . Please stick with it all you new quitters, it is so much freedom after a short period of time.

I mentioned freedom in an earlier post and it just amazes me how much of my time and thoughts have been freed up not having to worry about when and where I'd be able to smoke at any given time. It wasn't really much of a consideration when thinking about quitting, but what a really awesome result and benefit of quitting!! Congratulations on your quit!!:D:D

Well done on such a massive achievement. I'm a newbie and struggling but I agree about the NOPE it is saying that statement takes the decision from me and is such a positive statement

Well done xxx
