I quit smoking yesterday and it's been 6.5 hours since I quit. I'm using Nicorette gum and wills tart the Chantix later on. I can't believe I made it this far. I feel great and now I'm on the computer and typing I have no desire to quit. I hope it will stay that way. I would like to have my knee surgery ASAP. Wish me luck!!!!

I hope u manage to stay quit. the healing process is massively slowed down if you smoke, so do yourself and your knee a favour. both you and your knee will thank you for it.

Hello, AZgirl! Brilliant decision to quit!

Are you in the USA? I love it how people from all over the world can be united in this battle against stinky cigarettes!

Keep us posted about your progress and also don't forget we're here if you have any questions or just need a good old rant! Hope your knee gets sorted soon. :)
