OK so this is a thread for the brave. Dicko you're doing exactly what I would do which is to give myself a great big kick in the pants - the emotion in your post comes through loud and clear. So hopefully this is nothing more than a slap to yourself and you're straight back on the path - post and let us know?

Also, Karri while the inner junkie initially screams he/she does quieten to a rare whisper in the ear. If you don't know that then you have to believe it. Unfortunately sometimes a whisper is all that it takes to test the resolve as we know. Personally Dicko and Karri I believe you can both do this, as I think you undertand what it takes and that's half the point, stay strong! :)

Didko

I feel for you, I really do. You are a monkey!!!!! Now, pull yourself together, get your sensible head on, mindset back in place, and continue on your non smoking journey. You know what you have to do now!

Dicko, I feel your pain, having once quit for 3 months some years ago and then having failed here, in public, in Month 2. 10 months must be agonising.

Get right back on that non-smoker wagon and do it quickly, before you resurrect the nicotine addiction. If you do it quickly enough, the addiction will only have stirred a little bit, rather than have been wholly awakened.

Also, you feel bad enough about it, so don't continue to punish yourself for days and days.......it achieves nothing. Instead, try (if you can ) to take the positives from the situation; keep in mind that benders are a big danger area for your quit and remember also how you are feeling about those blasted fags now......they have made you feel like you have poo for brains.........great, eh? NOT.

Back onto the wagon quickly, Dicko....you've given yourself a good kick up the backside and so now it's time to look forward!

Please keep us up-to-date with how it's going. :)

Poo head

Hi all.

Finished being angry with myself. Dumped the newly bought lighter, washed all my clothes and gave myself a good talking to.

Some magic support come my way - thanks all.

Out of body - means - I knew it was wrong to buy them but I seemed to be looking at myself doing it and couldn't stop. Am I going mad?

Again cheers all. Back to being nic-monster free. :)
