I am 20 years old.I was a smoker for 4 years, since I was 16.I smoked my last cigarette 5 months ago.I am proud of myself because I did it without champix or any methods. However, I am concerned about one thing.During the time I smoked, I was a student abroad and smoking helped me concentrate on the studying process.Without them, I could barely study and memorise stuff.I failed the subject I studied little before I stopped smoking. In 2 days I am starting studying again, but I am really afraid if I will be able to study and memorise now that I don't smoke.I have no idea what will happen, since I stopped studying before I stopped smoking.I hope that you can help me.Thanks!

You should be able to concentrate better now, as you won't be distracted by thinking about fags! Your smoking days are gone, they are a part of your past.
It's the future that matters, so put your mind to your studies.
The fags never helped you in the past anyway, really.....it was just a mind-trick played on you by nicotine.
So, put the past behind you and start enjoying your new life, fresh and raring to get on with your studies!

I'm the same after nearly 16 months but I know it's all in the mind because when I finally get around to doing something where I need to concentrate, I find I can do it easily.
